INSTALLATION TIPS & TRICKS

There are many ways to install the exclusive XTEC Lighting Systems. Depending on the type of R/C you own will determine how you choose to adapt your XTEC Lighting System to it.

The XTEC System is designed to install without any tape, glue, velcro, etc., but you can use any of these if you want to better secure your system. Below are some suggestions and pictures of how our customers chose to mount their XTEC Lighting System. If you have any questions regarding your installation just give us a shout. Installation Tip - R/C Body Adaptation

These are examples of standard XTEC-installation on R/Cs that have a body of some kind.
Whether you're mounting to cars, trucks, helis, planes, boats, battle-bots, ufos, etc. this application is universal.
The first step is to make a hole in your R/C body approx. 1/4" to accommodate the mounting LUMILens.
This lens is optional, but it offers added protection to the exclusive super-bright XTEC LED.
The LUMILens is put into the hole, then the white LUMIRing snaps onto the back-side.
This white mounting ring snug-fits the LUMILens to the R/C body holding it in place.
Then simply snap your XTEC LED into place and you are ready-to-go!

to any color combination on any given day.

Please NOTE: with regards to ARF planes, there will be some custom installation involved
as the wings are already covered. Be patient, and once finished you will ROCK OUT at
your local airfield with the ONLY lighting system daylight visible more than 1+ mile.
